Letter to members
Dear Fellow Members,
Today, I write to you with a great sense of commitment to request your support for a position on the Executive Committee of The Cricket Club of India.
A Campion School and Sydenham College alumnus, I have spent over thirty-three years in the hospitality and manufacturing business. I am a team player with an independent mindset and a proven track record — approachable, accessible, and a believer in working with people across generations. My commitment is simple: strengthen what works, improve what doesn’t, and deliver a professionally managed, member-first CCI, that is future-ready.
The Children’s Christmas Carnival
I founded it, and every year since it has partnered with NGOs to bring thousands of underprivileged children into this Club for a day. It happens because someone stays with the detail until the day works.
My club experience
- Executive Committee Member, 2022–25.
- Entertainment Committee — Vice Chairman (2022–25), Hon. Secretary for 10+ years.
- 15+ years of the Club’s flagship events — Retro Music Nights, comedy and talent shows, New Year’s Eve, live sports screenings, and world-class shows by Zubin Mehta and A.R. Rahman.
- Diwali — personally curated CCI’s annual Rangoli.
- Bar Committee — Vice Chairman (2022–25). A key role in 22 Yards, the Club’s new bar, from its inception to completion.
- Running & Wellness — Vice Chairman (2022–25), Member (2025–26). A thriving runner community built, with the Triathlon, the Drinkathon and the recent Café Trail.
- Balloting and Infrastructure — Committee Member.
My vision needs your support
- Transparency and accountability — open communication, and professional governance.
- A better member experience — a management that turns member feedback into prompt action.
- Modernity with heritage — modernise and expand the infrastructure, while preserving what CCI is.
- Sporting excellence — world-class sports facilities, and premier coaching for all ages.
- An inclusive and vibrant culture — tailored events for our families, youth, women and seniors.
- Responsible growth — financially prudent, long-term development that maximises member value.
Build on what works, improve what doesn’t. I look forward to contributing in the spirit of mutual respect and cooperation. I would be grateful for your vote for the Executive Committee.
Warm regards,
